1. Who we are

Find Your Size (“Find Your Size,” “we,” “us”) is an independently-run sizing-guidance tool: a website and a companion Chrome extension that help you find your size across different brands using your own body and foot measurements. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to findyousize@gmail.com.

2. What Find Your Size does

Find Your Size takes measurements you provide — like chest, waist, hips, or foot length — and compares them against general size charts to suggest a size. Suggestions are also informed by fit feedback other users choose to share about specific brands. No account, sign-up, or payment is required to use the core guidance tool; signing in with Google is entirely optional and only used to save your measurements to an account instead of your browser.

3. Information we collect

What we don’t collect

  • No passwords — optional sign-in is handled entirely by Google; we never see or store one.
  • No payment information — Find Your Size is free, and we don’t process payments.
  • No advertising identifiers, ad trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels today — see “Advertising and affiliate links” below for what would change if that’s ever added.
  • No precise (GPS) location, and no access to your contacts, camera, or microphone.
  • No browsing history outside the Find Your Size site and extension popup.

Measurements and sizing data you provide

Body or foot measurements you enter (for example chest, bust, waist, hips, neck, sleeve, inseam, height, foot length, and foot width), any label you give a saved record, and the sizing category you select. If you’re not signed in, this is stored only in your browser’s local storage and is sent to our servers only at the moment you request a size suggestion. If you’re signed in, it’s stored in our database, tied to your account, and synced across your devices — including the browser extension.

Brand fit feedback

If you choose to share how a specific brand and size fit you, we store the brand, size, category, and fit outcome you report. This helps make suggestions more accurate for everyone. It’s linked to your account only if you were signed in when you submitted it, and it’s never displayed publicly with your name attached.

Site feedback

If you leave a star rating or comment on our review page, we store the rating, the comment text, and — if you’re signed in — your account ID. This is used to improve the product and isn’t displayed publicly.

Account information (if you sign in)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture through the standard OAuth sign-in flow. We use this only to identify your account and sync data across devices — we don’t request access to your Gmail, contacts, or any other Google data.

4. How we use information

  • Compute and return a size suggestion when you ask for one
  • Save and sync your measurements across devices, if you’re signed in
  • Aggregate brand fit feedback, never in a way that identifies who submitted it, to improve suggestion accuracy for that brand
  • Keep the service secure and diagnose bugs

Find Your Size does not use AI or machine-learning models to process your data. Size suggestions are computed with a deterministic, rule-based comparison against general size charts — not a language model or predictive algorithm — so there’s no “training on your data” to disclose. We don’t sell your data to advertisers or share your measurements with any third party for marketing purposes — see the next section for our current and future approach to ads and affiliate links specifically.

5. Advertising and affiliate links

Find Your Size does not currently show ads or include affiliate links. We may add either in the future to help cover the cost of running the service. If we do: any affiliate link will be clearly marked as such where it appears; any ad network or affiliate partner we work with will be named in the tables below, along with any cookie it sets; and no advertiser, affiliate partner, or brand payment ever changes which size we suggest to you — that calculation is the same deterministic comparison against general size charts regardless of any commercial relationship. We’ll update this policy, the cookie table, and the cookie notice shown on the site before either goes live, not after.

6. Cookies

We don’t currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, or run any analytics tool that sets its own cookies. If that changes, this table will list exactly what’s added, what it does, and how to opt out.

7. Third-party processors

We don’t currently use any other third-party processor — no analytics vendor, ad network, affiliate platform, or customer-data platform has access to your information today. Any new processor, including an ad network or affiliate platform, will be added to this table before we start using it.

8. Data retention

  • Guest measurements: stored only in your browser until you clear it or delete them yourself; never stored on our servers.
  • Account measurements: kept until you delete the record or your account, whichever comes first — deletion is immediate and available anytime from the Your measurements page.
  • Brand fit feedback and site feedback: retained to keep suggestions accurate over time; contact us to request deletion of feedback tied to your account.
  • Account information from Google: retained for as long as your account exists, then deleted.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.

If you’re in the European Economic Area or UK, these rights come from the GDPR / UK GDPR, and our processing is based on your consent (for optional sign-in) or our legitimate interest in providing the service you request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you’re a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Find Your Size does not sell or share personal information.

Most of these are already self-service: edit or delete any saved measurement from the Your measurements page, or delete your account at any time. For anything else, email findyousize@gmail.com — we’ll respond within 30 days.

10. International transfers

Find Your Size is operated from the United States, and our infrastructure provider (Supabase) may process and store data in the United States or other countries where it operates. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Children’s privacy

Find Your Size isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

12. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS to encrypt data in transit, and rely on Supabase’s row-level security so your saved measurements are only ever readable by you. Because sign-in goes through Google, we never store a password of yours that could be leaked. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we don’t retain more than we need.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as Find Your Size changes. If we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data: findyousize@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
