Frequently asked questions
Short answers about pricing, privacy, accuracy, and the extension.
Is Find Your Size free?
Yes. The core tool — saving measurements and getting a size suggestion — is entirely free, with no account required to use it.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Guest mode saves your measurements in your browser's local storage and works fully without signing in. Signing in with Google is optional and only needed to sync your measurements across devices and the browser extension.
Does Find Your Size use AI?
No. Size suggestions are computed with a deterministic, rule-based comparison against general size charts — not a language model or predictive algorithm. The same measurements will always produce the same suggestion.
How accurate is the size suggestion?
It's a general starting point, not a fit guarantee. Find Your Size compares your measurements against general size charts, not any single retailer's chart — brand sizing, cuts, and fabrics vary, so always check the retailer's own size chart for a specific item before buying.
What's the difference between the general suggestion and a retailer's own chart?
A retailer's own chart is always more accurate for that specific item, since it reflects that brand's actual cut and sizing. The general suggestion is a fallback for when you can't find the retailer's chart on the page.
Which categories are supported?
Tops, dresses, trousers, and footwear.
Is my data private?
Find Your Size doesn’t sell your data or share your measurements with third parties for marketing. Your saved measurements are protected by database-level access rules so only you can read them. See the Privacy page for the full picture, including cookies and third-party processors.
How does the Chrome extension work?
It's still in progress and not yet available to install. Once it launches, it'll mirror the measurements and signed-in session you already have on the website into a popup, so they're one click away while you shop — without opening a new tab. It won't read or inject anything into any retailer's page; adding measurements and signing in will both still happen on the website itself.
What if a brand runs small or large?
The optional Fit Log feature lets signed-in users report how a specific brand and size actually fit. Once at least five people report the same brand, size, and category, that pattern can inform a note like "runs small" — a single report never skews a suggestion on its own.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, anytime. Edit or delete any saved measurement from the Your measurements page, or delete your account entirely — deletion is immediate and self-service, no need to contact support.
